¿Cuándo empezaste a sentir interés por la música? ¿Fue el comienzo de tu carrera? / When did you start to feel interested in music? Was it the start of your career?

En el colegio cuando tenía 13 años, solía escribir letras y decirle a mis amigos que las leyeran en clase. Su reacción avivó mi confianza para practicar como MC/Rapper y al final me aburrí de escribir canciones para otros y con el paso del tiempo, decidí hacer mi propia música y simplemente salió natural!

At school when i was 13 years old i used to write lyrics and let my friends read it during class. Their reaction sparked my confidence to practice as a MC/Rapper  and eventually i got bored of writing to other people’s songs and after some time away decided to make my own music and it just felt natural!

¿Qué nos puedes decir sobre ‘Secret Lover’?/What can you tell us about ‘Secret Lover‘?

Esta canción se basa en una historia real de conocer a una desconocida que ya estaba en una relación y enamorarse a primera vista.

Abraza el deseo más profundo de tener una conexión discreta con un «amante secreto», nos anima a actuar sobre nuestras emociones y sentir esas mariposas en su estómago, ¡incluso si estás en una relación con alguien más!

This song is based on a true story about meeting a stranger who was already in a relationship and falling in «love at first sight».

It embraces the deepest desire of having a discreet connection with a «Secret Lover», encourages us to act on our emotions and feel those butterflies in your stomach even if you’re in a relationship with someone else!

¿Cuál es tu parte favorita de ser artista musical? ¿La composición, la grabación, la producción, tocar en directo…) ¿Por qué? / Which is your favorite part about being a music artist? (Composing, recording and producing, live playing….) Why?

Para mí, tiene que ser escuchar un ritmo crudo y visualizar la melodía, la armonía y el sentimiento general de cómo sonará la canción terminada, incluso antes de empezar a escribir cualquier letra o escuchar la idea de alguien más.

For me, it has to be listening to a raw beat and visualising the melody, harmony and overall feeling of what the finished song will sound like, even before I start to write any lyrics or hear anyone else’s input.

¿Qué opinas sobre la industria musical actual? / What do you think about the music industry nowadays?

Ha cambiado mucho en los últimos 5 años. Cuando empecé era difícil ser reconocido incluso si tenías talento- se trataba de conexiones en la industria, pero ahora las cosas han cambiado. Ahora, cualquiera con talento y consistencia puede hacerse un nombre y llegar a un público que nunca imaginó que respondería positivamente a su música desde el otro lado del mundo. Es realmente una bendición saber que incluso una sola persona conectó con mi canción y esta le influyó en su estado de ánimo. Me parece un verdadero honor.

It has changed so much in the last 5 years. When i started out it was hard to get recognised even if your were talented- it was about connections in the industry but now things have changed. Now, anyone with talent and consistency can make a name for themselves and reach an audience they never imagined would respond positively to their Music from the other side of the world. It’s really a blessing to know that even just one person connected to my song and played an influence in their mood. I find that a real honour.

¿Cuáles son tus planes de futuro en el mundo de la música? / What are your plans for the future in the music field?

Quiero que mi música llegue a un público de muchos orígenes diferentes, para atrapar a personas al azar cuando están pasando por emociones especiales si se está enamorando o tratando de lidiar con la enfermedad mental y quiero ser capaz de ‘levantarlos’ incluso si es sólo por un par de minutos. Aparte de eso, estoy lanzando una canción de Pop de Navidad moderna y muy inusual este año y en realidad estoy un poco nervioso sobre cómo será recibida en todo el mundo porque es tan diferente a ‘Secret Lover’ y estará totalmente fuera de mi zona de confort.

I want my music to reach an audience from many different backgrounds, to catch random people when they are going through special emotions whether it’s falling in love or trying to deal with mental illness and i want to be able to ‘lift them up’ even if it’s just for a couple of minutes. Aside from that, I am releasing a modern and very unusual Christmas Pop song this year and am actually a little nervous about how it will be received around the world because its so different to Secret Lover and will be totally out of my comfort zone.
