¿Cuánto tiempo llevas en la música? / How long have you been singing and playing?

Desde que estaba en tercer grado. Hacía ver que estaba en un grupo de chicas famoso con mis mejores amigas…. pero mi primera parada seria en música, el clarinete durante seis años en la escuela elemental, tres años de guitarra en Junior High y cuatro años de coro en el instituto.

Sin mencionar que mis dos padres estaban profundamente embelesados en la composición, el canto y eran autodidactas en cuanto a instrumentación. Las primeras grabaciones que escuché fueron producciones de mi madre y padre.

Since I was in the 3rd Grade. Pretending to be a famous girl group with my besties..but First serious stop in music, clarinet for 6 years in elementary school, 3 years of guitar in Jr. high and 4 years of Choir in high school.

Not to mention both of my parents being fully enthralled into writing, singing and self taught instrumentation. The first tapes, yes tapes that I ever heard were productions of my mother and father.

¿Cuáles son tus planes para el futuro? / What are your plans for the future in the artistic area?

Dominar el mundo. J/K. Suena increíble aun con todo. Mis planes son tocar a cuanta más gente posible que se sienta identificada con mi música. La música es terapia. Otros pueden usarla como ayuda, igual que hago yo cuando escucho mis canciones favoritas.

World Domination. J/K. Sounds awesome though. My plans are to touch as many people who can relate to my music as possible. Music is therapy. MySelf help. Others can use the help, just as I do when hearing my favorite songs.

¿Qué te gusta hacer cuando no estás haciendo música? / What do you like to do when you are not doing music?

Mis cosas favoritas de hacer fuera de la música son misiones de rescate de perros y gatos… rehabilitar gatos callejeros. Además de crear personajes en 3D en Blender & Zbrush para juegos, a la vez que jugar a juegos de doble vida como Los Sims, Diablo 3, PVZ y The Witcher 3.

My favorite things to do outside of music is stray cat & dog rescue missions… Feral Cat socializing. + Creating 3D Characters in Blender & Zbrush for games, alongside Playing Second Life, The sims, Diablo 3, PVZ and the Witcher 3.

¿Qué opinas de la revolución del streaming musical? / What do you think about the streaming revolution in music?

Si no fuera por la revolución del streaming, a pesar de haber firmado con dos grandes discográficas y que no pasara nada con mi carrera, estaría bloqueada la industria de la música por los elitistas. Ahora, soy independiente y la revolución del streaming ha salvado mi vida y mi carrera.

Artistas como yo y discográficas como la mía 4K2D, son ahora capaces de competir con grandes discográficas y artistas. El terreno de juego se ha equilibrado por fin. Incluso la visibilidad. La música importa. Dejad que la gente decida. 🙂

If it weren’t for the streaming revolution, despite having 2 major record deals and accomplishing nothing whilst signed,  I would have been locked out of the music industry by elitists. Now that i’m indie, The streaming revolution has saved my life and my career. 

Artists like myself and labels like my home label 4k2D, are now able to compete with major label artists and labels. The playing field has finally evened.  Even visibility. Music Matters. Let the people decide. 😉
