¿Cuánto tiempo llevas en la música? / How long have you been singing/producing/songwriting?

Llevo cantando y escribiendo  toda mi vida, ser cantante es todo lo que recuerdo querer ser cuando crecía. Me mudé a Los Ángeles en 2014 para comenzar mi carrera en la música, entonces empecé a sacar canciones originales en 2016 justo al salir del conservatorio.

I’ve been singing and songwriting my whole life. Being a singer is all I can remember wanting to be growing up. I moved to Los Angeles in 2014 to pursue a career in music then started to release my original songs right out of music school in 2016.

¿Cuál dirías que es la mejor canción para que todo el mundo conozca tu trabajo? / Which would you say is the best song to make everyone know your work?

“Miss Me”, es mi canción favorita, tiene un lugar especial en mi corazón porque fue un punto de inflexión en mi vida en el que me me di cuenta de mi valía. Creo que todo el mundo ha tenido una relación en la que la otra persona solo te quiere cuando no te puede tener y escribí una canción para empoderar a los oyentes e inspirarles a dejar ir a cualquiera que no vea tu valía. Es un tema con el que muchos se podrán sentir identificados y es muy vulnerable también además de ser a la vez un tema divertido y muy bailable.

“Miss Me” is my favorite song, it has a special place in my heart because it was a turning point in my life where I realized my worth. I think everyone has had a relationship where the other person only wants you when they can’t have you, and I wrote that song to empower the listener and inspire them to let go of anyone who doesn’t see their value. It’s super vulnerable and relatable yet still a fun and danceable track.

¿Cuáles son tus planes para el futuro? / What are your plans for the future in the artistic area?

He vivido mucho con mi música y me ha tomado mucho tiempo encontrar mi sonido. Creo que he llegado finalmente al sitio donde me siento segura de mi misma como artista y compositora y puedo continuar escribiendo y grabando mi álbum debut.

I’ve experimented a lot with my music and it’s taken a lot of time to find my sound. I feel like I’m finally in a place where I’m confident in myself as an artist and a songwriter and can move forward to write and record my debut EP.

¿Qué te gusta hacer cuando no estás haciendo música? / What do you like to do when you are not doing music?

Soy una gran fan del auto-conocimiento. Me encanta meditar, los cristales de sanación,  leer libros y escuchar podcasts que me me hacen mejor.

I’m a HUGE fan of self-development. I love meditating, crystal healing, reading books and listening to podcasts to better myself. 

¿Qué opináis de la revolución del streaming musical? / What do you think about the streaming revolution in music?

Creo que es una buena forma para los artistas independientes como yo llegar a los fans de todo el mundo. He sido capaz de alcanzar oyentes de 63 países gracias a la revolución del streaming.

I think it’s a great way for independent artists like myself to reach new fans from all over the world. I’ve been able to reach listeners from 63 countries thanks to the streaming revolution.
