A corto plazo: firmar con una Major.

A largo plazo: Utilizar la plataforma musical para crear un cambio social y cultural a través de la implicación política y filantrópica. Representar la lucha y la belleza de lo latinoamericano actual, contando las historias de nuestra vida y herencia. Combinando todas las influencias y culturas de mi crianza latina con el desarrollo de elementos de bajo en el R’n’B americano y el movimiento ‘Hyphy’ de la Bay Area, para crear un puente entre las culturas latinas y americanas, un momento de fusión en la historia homenajeando a aquellos que estuvieron aquí antes de mí.

Short-term: Sign to a Major label.

Long-term: Use the musical platform to create cultural and social change, through philanthropic and political involvement. Represent the struggle and beauty of modern-day Latin-American, telling the stories of our life and heritage. Combining all of the influences and cultures of my international Latin upbringing with the developing 808 bass elements in American R&B and the “Hyphy Movement” from the Bay Area., to create a bridge between Latin and American cultures, a cross-over moment in history paying homage to those came before me.

¿Qué te gusta hacer cuando no estás haciendo música? / What do you like to do when you are not doing music?

Bailar salsa (de competición), la gimnasia (acrobática), el fútbol, y el entrenamiento personal (certificado).

¿Qué opinas de la revolución del streaming musical? / What do you think about the streaming revolution in music?

Desde la perspectiva del artista: La habilidad de compartir música con cualquiera al rededor del mundo es fenomenal. La independencia es más que nunca posible.

Desde la perspectiva del negocio: Parece que hemos dado la vuelta a una industria que está cayendo debido al decrecimiento en las ventas físicas. De acuerdo con IFPI, hemos tenido tres años de crecimiento. Así que doy mi ok!

Desde la perspectiva del consumidor: No recuerdo la última vez que consumí un álbum entero, canción por canción. Había un arte a la hora de hacer un álbum. El streaming musical es como el porno, con un acceso infinito y la imposibilidad de apreciar de verdad cada experiencia individual, empezamos a darlo todo por hecho. Así que es algo agridulce.

Artist perspective: The ability to share music with anyone around the world is phenomenal. Independence is possible more than ever.

Business perspective: We seem to have turned around an industry that was failing due to decreasing physical sales. According to IFPI, we’ve had 3 years of growth. So thumbs up from me.

Consumer perspective: I don’t remember the last time I fully digested an album, song by song. There was an art to the album. Music streaming is like porn, with infinite access comes the inability to truly appreciate each individual experience; we start taking it for granted. So it’s bittersweet.
