He estado activo siendo embajador para las Naciones Unidas divulgando el SDGs (Metas de desarrollo sostenible) al rededor del mundo. He viajado a varias ciudades y países como Nueva York, Uganda, Francia y España pasando algún tiempo con niños locales. También he visitado centros para personas invidentes.

I have been active as the ambassador for the United Nation to spread the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) around the world.  I have traveled to various cities & countries such as New York, Uganda, France, and Spain performing and spending some time with the local children.  I have also been visiting facilities for the visually impaired.

Méjico es uno de los sitios donde más se escucha la música de Pikotaro, ¿eres tan popular en Japón como en el resto del mundo? / México is one of the places where Pikotaro’s music is more streamed, is Pikotaro as popular in Japan as he is all over the world?

No estoy muy seguro de si soy famoso, pero la gente parece reconocerme cuando ando por la ciudad y me rodean niños y ancianos.

I’m not quite sure if I’m popular, but people do seem to notice me when I’m walking around the city, or be surrounded by children and the elderly.

¿Qué hace Pikotaro cuando no hace música? / What does Pikotaro like to do when he is not doing music? 

Trabajo media jornada. Me gusta pintar los colores de las pelotas de futbol y pegar colas a las gambas.

I work part-time. Like painting the colors on the soccer balls, and attaching tails on shrimps.

¿Qué opina Pikotaro sobre la revolución del streaming? / What does Pikotaro think about the streaming revolution in music?

Creo que la revolución del sreaming ha hecho que la música sea más íntima para los usuarios. También creo que los fans de la música están creciendo. Gracias a YouTube, me conoció gente de todo el mundo así que creo que la escena de la música está yendo en la dirección correcta.

I think the streaming revolution actually made music more intimate to users.

I also think the music fans are increasing.

Thanks to YouTube, I was recognized by people around the world, so I really think the world’s music scene is heading towards the right direction.
