¿Cómo os conocisteis? / How did you meet?

Nos conocimos literalmente en el escenario, incluso tocamos en un show juntos antes de que nos presentara. Estabamos contratados por el mismo manager, actuamos juntos y después pasamos toda la noche juntos hablando de música y de la vida al lado de una hoguera.

We literally met on stage, we even played a gig together before we got introduced to each other. We were booked by the same manager, performed together and after that we hung the whole night by a bunfire while talking about music and life.

¿Sabías desde el primer momento que ibais a crear música juntos? / Did you know from the first moment you were going to create some music together?

Well we were creating music together from the first moment we met. After that first gig numerous followed but it took more than two years until plans were made to work on records.

¿A quién se le ocurrió la idea de colaborar en un tema? / Who came up with the idea of collaborating in a song?

La verdad es que no estoy muy seguro. Cuando haces música con alguien, más pronto o más tarde acabas creando sonidos a la par y a veces esto te lleva a una canción completa o más.

I’m not really sure to be honest. When making music together, sooner or later you’ll end up creating sound together and sometimes this leads to a complete tune or more.

 ¿Cómo ha sido el proceso creativo de esta canción? / How has been the creative process of this track?

Cuando empezamos a trabajar en el estudio, directamente pusimos un montón de ideas en la mesa. Ahora estamos constantemente haciendo evolucionar esas ideas. Pero dado que tocamos en escenarios de toda Europa cada semana, a veces no podemos llegar tan lejos como nos gustaría. Bueno, en este caso específico, a Gurú se le ocurrió ese loop de funky house que había creado tiempo atrás. Empezamos a improvisar con el Saxo y la percusión y desarrollamos melodías claves y arreglos. Mexclar y masterizar vinieron al final, por supuesto.

When we started work in the studio, we directly put a bunch of song ideas on the table. Now we’re constantly evolving these ideas to full tracks. But since we’re playing on stages all over Europe each and every week we sometimes cant keep up the pace as we’d like to.

Well, in this specific case Guru came up with that funky house loop he created back in a day. We started jamming on Sax and Percussion and developed key melodies and arrangement. Mix and master came in the end for sure.

¿Qué parte de la canción destacarías? / Which part of the song would you stand out?

El foco de nuestro trabajo es definitivamente el sentimiento de vida. Deberías sentir que estás en medio de la gente en una fiesta en tu isla favorita. Y más importante, por supuesto, las improvisaciones de percusión y Saxo.

Focus of our work def is the live feeling. You should feel like you’re right in the crowd at a party on your favourite island. And most important of course the Percussion and Sax jams.

¿Crees que podría haber nuevas aventuras musicales juntos en un futuro? / Do you think there could be some new music adventures together in the future?

Sí, como he dicho antes, ya hemos empezado con un montón de temas. El próximo estreno debería estar listo en uno o dos meses. Después de eso tenemos mucha gira planeada pero seguiremos a tope. Prometido.

Yea as mentioned before, we started on a bunch tracks already. The next release should be ready in like 1-2 month. After that we have a lot touring lined up but we’ll keep pushing. Promised.
