Lo único malo de la revolución del streaming es que toda la industria está muy enfocada en los plays

¿Cuáles son vuestros planes para el futuro? / What are your plans for the future in the artistic area?

Desde que empezamos nuestro propio sello discográfico, Ignite Recordings., estamos trabajando en mucha música nueva. Estamos intentando hacer un mix de canciones con vocales y por supuesto, los temas del club Firebeatz siempre están por delante :). Además, estamos muy emocionados con los talentos a los que podemos dar nuestra plataforma para lanzar música.

 

Since we started our own label, Ignite Recordings, we’re working on a lot of new music. We’re trying to make a mix between songs with vocals and off course the Firebeatz club records will always come forward:-) Furthermore we’re really excited about the talents that we can give our platform to release music.
¿Qué os gusta hacer cuando no estáis haciendo música? / What do you like to do when you are not doing music?

A Tim le gusta ir a boxear y a Jurre jugar a futbol. A ambos nos gusta jugar a la playstation también y somos unos foodies!

Tim likes to go Boxing & Jurre likes to play Football. Both of us like to play playstation as well and we’re real foodies!

¿Qué opináis de la revolución del streaming musical? / What do you think about the streaming revolution in music?

Creemos que es bueno que más y más gente esté utilizando las plataformas de streaming para poder alxanzar más gente con nuestra música. Lo único malo de la revolución del streaming es que toda la industria está muy enfocada en los plays en las plataformas que algunos DJ’s y productores se olvidan de que las raíces de la música dance son aún temas dance para clubs y festivales. Pero, si puedes combinar ambos, tienes la mejor solución posible 🙂

We think it’s a good thing that more & more people are using the streaming portals so we can reach more people with our music. The only down side of this streaming revolution is that the whole industry is so focused on the plays on the portals that a lot of dj’s/producers forget that the roots of dance music are still dance records for the clubs & festivals. But if you can combine both you have the best possible solution 🙂
